Its concept of being an eco-friendly and zero-waste café is an eye-catching idea that will interest the public. But according to the owner, customers do not have a clear understanding of sustainability and how such a lifestyle works, almost nonexistent marketing strategy does not serve its role successfully. Low awareness of alternative take-out options for customers; Low awareness of the café’s BYOC policy; Lack of knowledge in menu items, especially for customers who are not familiar with plant-based foods. I created this infographic to help the team better understand the problem. Design Focus Our goal is to raise awareness among customers about the café' s commitment to zero waste. By encouraging the reuse of materials and discouraging the use of disposable items, we want to minimize waste and promote a sustainable lifestyle. How? Decide We started to brainstorm our ideas using "Crazy 8's". Final Solution After couple meetings. We created KindBox, a meal program that offers students Kind Café food and drinks at discounted prices in order to incentivize them to take part in zero-waste practices. This solution allows users to save time, eat healthy and make a difference to the environment. Meals are ordered online and prepared for in-store pick-up at the café. Accidents can occur due to insufficient preparation and a lack of understanding of the dive site. To address this, divers typically maintain paper logbooks to record essential information like site conditions, dive duration, and maximum depth, which enables them to monitor their performance. However, the utilization of this data is often limited. Inspiration #2 Stitchless Leather An innovative prototype for a stitchless leather jacket grown from immortalized cell lines on a biodegradable polymer matrix. It explores the future of lab-grown leather, inspired by the organ perfusion pump. This project challenges conventional practices in clothing production, raising awareness about material waste and prompting us to consider the implications of tissue engineering in consumer products.&nbsp; Target Audience Our target audience is the future generation who are suffering from the consequences of the unsustainable meat consumption habit from the past. Deconstructed the user testing process into various tasks and closely observed their behavior as they completed each task. Body-Storming To begin with, I research the pain points of kids monitoring and use them to create three personas and journey map. Then, I physically act out the story using the journey map. This method allows me to deeply consider the potential users' situations and surroundings, helping me understand their needs and challenges in detail. Our target audience comprises safety-conscious parents who prioritize the well-being of their children and seek proactive measures to monitor their home potential dangers and hazards.
